We had such a great time at our Cowboy Carter listening party that we decided to bring back a series of listening sessions with our favorite artists. Artists that make us feel free and joyous as Black women. Our own sacred texts (shout out to Ebony Janice).

First up is ERYKAH BADU!

Kick back with us for a night of dancing, storytelling, and fellowship at the dreamy Adjourn Tea Studio. Share your favorite Badu tunes and the stories that make you love her work. We’ll have a DJ and all the vibes for a fun and easy Friday evening. This event is for you is you love good music, good company, and looking for a safe space to be yourself with other Black women.

Small bites and Adjourn Tea punch will be provided. Feel free to BYOB to share!

Tickets are $22 and proceeds go to the Dream Keeper and Flourish Funds, supporting the work of the Lab and Adjourn Tea Studio in the DMV community.
